Dr. Graham Hartke, Psy.D. is a New Jersey and New York licensed psychologist specializing in cognitive behavioral treatment (CBT) of anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, tics/Tourette Syndrome, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). He also specializes in the area of applied sport and performing arts psychology. Dr. Hartke works with children, adolescents, and adults providing therapy, behavioral assessment, and psychological evaluations. Dr. Hartke is also a certified provider of Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT).
Dr. Graham Hartke graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers College, Rutgers University with his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He continued his training at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers University where he received his masters and doctorate in School Psychology, completed clinical training at the Tourette Syndrome Program, and completed a concentration in Sport Psychology. Dr. Hartke also has his New Jersey certification as a School Psychologist, School Supervisor, and School Principal. He worked for over a decade in K-12 education as a school psychologist, educator, and administrator.
Dr. Graham Hartke is a frequent outreach presenter for the New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome (NJCTS), and has previously served as Clinical Director of the Tourette Syndrome Clinic at Rutgers GSAPP. He also has served as an internship consortium supervisor for doctoral candidates at Rutgers GSAPP. He regularly presents workshops and in-service trainings to parents, schools, and other groups on a range of topics such as CBT, social skills, social emotional learning, anxiety,Tourette Syndrome, bullying, anger, school refusal, behavior and classroom management, cyber safety and technology, sport-performing arts psychology, collaborative problem solving, and school crisis management. He also has developed multiple clinical and school based programs ranging from social skills programs, school wide social emotional learning/ positive behavioral support programs, extended school year programs, and mental skills training programs for athletes and performing artists.
